ABOUT YOUTH MINISTRY INTERNATIONAL
Youth Ministry International (YMI) exists to train youth workers for local churches in the people groups of the world. Our primary strategy is to “Train the Trainers of youth leaders Globally.” We want to help create local national-led training programs that will then train the next generation of youth workers. We are committed to this Multiplication Leadership Training strategy (MLT).
YMI’s MLT strategy includes informal seminars, certificate programs, as well as our formal college and seminary level training, which include Bachelor and/or Masters degree formal academic programs. Credentialed youth ministry professors, in partnership with local colleges and seminaries, teach our 10-bachelor level and 12-master level courses using Biblical/transferable principles, which are then contextualized into the heart language of the local culture. Many of these programs are accredited through regional theological agencies. We assist our partnership institutions create a Center for Youth Ministry (CYM), directed by YMI-trained national professors who have completed our masters program. The CYM is responsible for teaching, conducting research, and providing contextualized resources for local youth workers.
